PDS is seeking a Receptionist for an open position in Augusta, GA.
Answers incoming telephone calls and directs to appropriate employee.
Greets and badges customers and visitors upon arrival and obtains necessary preliminary information to refer them to the appropriate individual.
Assists customers with rental car, hotel reservations and other requests. Provide information regarding local entertainment such as dining, hotels and golf.
Maintains a neat, professional and aesthetically appealing reception area. Keeps customer refreshments stocked daily. Ensures customer work areas are clean and stocked with stationary supplies.
Performs additional clerical assignments for other departments within the facility as needed (data entry, filing, making copies, etc.)
Observes all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies.
Carries out special projects as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bilingual, preferred - (English/Spanish)
Must have a neat and professional appearance and pleasant personality.
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Able to handle a busy multi-line switchboard, along with other distractions in a professional manner.
Working knowledge of PC''s and Microsoft Office software suite and type at least 35 WPM.
Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (8-10 hours).
