Need quality cost engineer profiles from manufacturing domain steel commodity specialization.
Will be responsible to estimate the cost of automobile parts with the given inputs in the required form of delivery being inside the timeliness limits and the quality with consistency.
Also willing to consider Process Engineer or Production Engineer with costing knowledge profile
Mfg process knowledge on steel commodity (Stamping, Machining, Hot Forging, Cold Forging, Powder Metallurgy, welding & finishing operations)
Mfg process knowledge on Motors and Actuators
Mfg process knowledge on wiring harness and connectors, Pins
Should have complete knowledge on materials used and its applications
Should be able to do Should-costing for part and Assembly levels
Should understand direct manufacturing like machining, casting, Injection molding mfg process, Machines used, Equipments used etc
Should be able to do good presentation skills
Product tear down knowledge and Estimations, measurement, VAVE skills
Should be able to calculate Machine hr rate, Labour hr rate, cycle time for each operation, Inspections methods and Packing / Transport costEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
