Power generation client is currently seeking 2 Cyber Security Specialists to address cyber security controls for Critical Digital Assets (CDAs) as described in the NGD Cyber Security Plan (NRC) at Catawba Nuclear Station in York, SC. These are 9 month CONTRACT positions, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred, but per diem will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities for the Specialist
Provide for ongoing monitoring / assessment of the program
Maintain the ability for attack mitigation and incident response
Maintain a Cyber Security contingency plan
Maintain cyber security policies and implementing procedures
Requirements for the Specialist
BS Degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited university or related work experience
Knowledge of real time / data acquisition / control systems, including hardware, software and interfaces
Knowledge of technical and programmatic cyber security controls and protection strategies
Experience applying NEI 08-09 Controls, experience in the security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications & network protocols, and previous nuclear station work experience is preferred
Experience with NIST cyber security controls a plus
