Accounting Supervisor
Our south sound client is looking for a full-time Accounting Supervisor to lead accounting duties, including perform month-end closing, manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process and team, monthly reporting, financial statement preparation, team mentorship. This position is responsible for managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for branch locations across the states. The ideal candidate will think independently and respond quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In addition, the candidate will be very interested in learning, proactive in suggesting improvements and adding insights, and suggest enhancements to existing controls and processes.
Qualifications
o BA in Accounting, or Finance preferred, or equivalent work experience
o 3-5 years corporate accounting
o 3 years of supervisory experience
o Proven working knowledge and experience with AP and AR best practices and processes, including internal controls, and AP and AR performance management.
o Strong Excel and MS Office skills
o GAAP knowledge and accounting concept
o Knowledge of credit and collection laws.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong analysis and problem solving skills
o Strong organization/time management skills
o Independent, self-motivated individual needed
o Ability to manage multi-regional personnel
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
