Position Summary
Primarily responsible for web programming and technical support of advanced web services and web applications for the Central Michigan University Libraries. Provides support to the Libraries' staff to develop, test, and support web-based applications. Researches and works collaboratively on the implementation of major web projects across multiple units in the Libraries. Works with Libraries' staff developing project parameters and requirements as required. Participates in the design, implementation and maintenance of systems best suited to the operational needs of the Libraries. Exercises supervision over employees or student employees as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of two years of experience in web development and software programming.
Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and handle a multitude of tasks.
Working knowledge of one or more current web markup or scripting languages: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, and HTML.
Familiarity with software design and methodologies.
Including focused on high quality delivery of work products.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in web site management and systems analysis/design.
Advanced technical proficiency in web site design, and including programming databases applications (for example, MS-SQL or MySQL)
Demonstrated ability to develop computer systems utilizing current technologies such as, Active Server Pages (ASP), MS-SharePoint, and Dreamweaver or other web authoring tools.
Proficiency with the .Net framework, C# and/or .
Experience with Desktop hardware and operating systems.

Develops templates and programming code for unified web layouts, page design, site searching, and site navigation; leads or assists in quality control initiatives and usability testing. (65%)
Works with Libraries' staff to develop and support web-based applications. (25%)
Writes fully developed documentation. (10%)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
