Summary: This individual provides leadership in the area of development of all corporate staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop training materials both live and on-line for new and existing corporate policies.
Coordinate, schedule and conduct training sessions.
Effectively train employees on a variety of topics.
Create, format, proofread and prepare training materials.
Amend and revise training materials as policies and procedures are updated and changed.
Writes proposals for organizational training needs.
Performs research on new laws and regulations.
Maintain training statistics on a regular basis. Provides training statistics for executive review which include successes and planned focuses for the future.
Implement e-learning courses (when applicable) to meet the needs of the organization, including design, development, management and training to all staff.
Maintains library of training tools to include tracking.
Prepares organizational and new initiative analysis on a regular basis to include training analysis.
Maintains administrative records while keeping track of development and certifications of training.
Selects and uses a variety of techniques for determining instructional content.
Analyze course materials and learner feedback and information for improvement
Schedules training with branch managers and appropriate corporate staff.
Establishes and maintains instructor professionalism and rapport with trainees.
Responds appropriately to trainees'needs for clarification and feedback.
Provides positive reinforcement and motivational incentives.
Demonstrates oneself as a positive role model.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Completes any additional duties assigned by manager.
Maintains a focus on enhancing customer service skills and knowledge.
Complete regulatory and compliance training, as required.
Assists WMC employees and departments as needed.

SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities: N/A

Individuals in this position shall not engage in loan origination during the course of his/her employment with WMC. Loan origination is defined as (1) taking a residential mortgage loan application; or (2) offering or negotiating terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 2 to 3 years experience in a training role.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. In addition, working knowledge of Encompass is necessary.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent presentation skills. Good grammar and diction. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Using excellent customer service skills which includes maintaining a good attitude, taking ownership of meeting customer needs, going the extra mile for customers, demonstrating a commitment to sharpening skills through education and training, using positive communication, and looking for opportunities to respect customers' time and schedules.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
