Job Description
The IT Manager provides IT leadership and direction, across all technical and management disciplines. This role includes a crucial overall delivery and execution accountability for initiatives of all sizes and on-going maintenance of current systems within a portfolio. Day to day activities will include management of people leaders and individual contributors, including: personal and team development, information sharing, succession planning, and other HR duties as appropriate. The IT Manager is responsible for resource planning; departmental business planning; budget/forecast preparation & management; and status reporting. Additional duties of this job may include overall communication and relationship management within IT and across the various business partners; vendor and contractor management; and problem management and/or escalation. The IT Manager creates an environment that fosters teamwork, accountability and exceptional service.
Job Requirements
Manages departmental team(s), relationships and/or is a SME for multiple businesses, Manages system enhancements, new releases or projects focused on a specific product; Accountabilities are highly complex and multi-faceted
Consults and provides direction for customer requirements; analyzing business architecture, data, and infrastructure drivers needs in support of potential solutions.
Negotiates with client(s) regarding program/project deliverables, scope, milestones, and budgets
Demonstrates leadership and sets direction across complex and geographically/culturally diverse teams.
Demonstrates competence across various disciplines related to the financial industry and/or information technology industry
Demonstrates the ability to engage and influence the support of others to achieve goals and objectives
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

years progressive career growth experience in IT
Demonstrated leadership and management of multi-discipline, high-performance work teams and matrix resources
Demonstrated competency with developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies across various IT disciplines; including in-depth experience in one or more is critical
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong team building and mentoring skills are a must
Ability to partner well with key Business and Technology partners and resolve difficult issues quickly
Significant, demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence initiatives
Demonstrated and senior level command of SDLC and PMLC processes
Strong understanding of Data Management technical principles

ETL
Data Modeling
Report Development
Experience managing Analytical & Reporting teams
Experience managing requirements elicitation workshops and resulting low level Data Definition documents
Prefer experience with Retail banking, from store operations through deposit operations and customer analytics
Must be able to articulate a clear and compelling vision
