The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction and assistance in the completion of daily merchandise and operating tasks and to perform such other duties as assigned by the Multi Store Manager. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws. This position involves limited responsibility for
recommending action on hiring, firing, or disciplining associates. Situations surrounding these issues should be brought to the attention of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
1. Lead TEAM associates through the execution of company business plans/objectives to drive sales, be profitable and provide a superior customer and associate experience.
2. Direct and assist TEAM in performing all necessary job duties, provide regular performance feedback, and demonstrate RAPTAR behaviors (Recognition, Appreciation, Praise, Treat Associates Respectfully).
3. Control inventory by performing proper receiving and stocking including accurate cycle counting, processing merchandise transfers according to procedures, and reporting inventory problems to the Multi Store Manager.
4. Implement weekly price changes, ad sale pricing, and temporary price reductions to ensure pricing accuracy; verify discounted and clearance items are priced correctly and the associated signage is correct.
5. Post and remove all signs associated with promotional programs; verify appropriate signage is displayed throughout the store.
6. Lead and assist TEAM with the implementation of Plan-o-gram updates, verify the integrity of store Plano-grams to include accurate pricing.
7. Oversee that store inventory is regularly inspected in accordance with the Product Freshness Awareness schedule.
8. Maintain a neat and orderly backroom.
9. Manage tasks and supervise store associates in those limited circumstances when the Multi Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager or Shift Supervisor is unavailable.
10. Ensure that all outdated product and product with less than 30 days until expiration is removed from the sales floor to be processed through the established returns process.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position involves managing tasks and supervising stock team associates.

The following qualities are helpful:
Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis.
Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
Ability to read, write, and/or speak a second language in certain geographical areas.
At least one (1) year of experience in retail, food service, restaurant or customer service industry, preferably at a supervisor level, and/or a two (2) year college degree.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
