The Architect is responsible for owning and providing technical direction on assigned projects and within their technical discipline. Ability to document and design system requirements. The Architect role possesses significant influence, and comes with the responsibility to ensure that projects are on the right path from a technical standpoint. Architects drive the technical planning process, application architecture, code standards, integrations, scalability, and developer guidance during the SDLC. In addition to technical project leadership, architects are often called upon to innovate on new ideas or technologies, and develop prototype applications for the Business Innovations group.
Responsibilities:
Architect and own complex Java based web applications
Lead CQ5 implementation projects by driving the strategy, architecture, design and implementation of Adobe CQ5 projects
Primarily responsible for understanding which new technologies to utilize and then bringing the rest of the technology organization up to speed to implement
Provide coding standards and best practices and holding your team accountable for meeting these standards
Define and execute periodic code reviews with team throughout the development life cycle
Assist in highlighting what needs to be fixed and why a different approach may be needed; yet being open-minded enough to hear others solutions and allowing a level of autonomy for developers to solveEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
