At Rockfish, our Mobile Technology Architect (TA) is responsible for providing technical standards direction on assigned projects and for best practice documentation and sharing, especially through code reviews. The Architect is an individual contributor who ensures that new projects are set up on the right path from a technical standpoint. The Architect is less likely to be involved on a project from start to finish, but will rather apply their knowledge across many different projects. A major focus of the position is to foster the technical (tradecraft) growth of the developer(s) an Architect works with on project.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for understanding which new technologies/approaches to utilize and then bringing the rest of the technology organization up to speed to implement
Provide technical mobile standards direction, both internally and externally via boards and alliances
Mobile Best practice documentation and sharing across Rockfish
Define code reviews and help roll them across Rockfish; assist in highlighting what needs to be fixed, why it should be done differently, and defining why a different approach is needed
Determine approach at front of assigned projects; write new algorithms and approaches to solve hard problems in the middle
Requirements:
Deep level of understanding in iOS and/or Android development
Understands device tenancy, caching,settingsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
