The primary focus of this role is to drive and contribute to the development of a growth plan for the Services business unit. As the successful candidate, you will build business cases for individual opportunities; ensure revenue, P&L meet the company's services criteria; forge strong relationships with internal teams, maintain ownership of major opportunities, and support development of clear growth priorities for the business unit with market research, opportunity evaluation, financial analysis, customer segmentation and regulatory and legal analysis.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development of propositions and ensure all financial and operational requirements are covered
Develop a deep understanding of the market key opportunities
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence them to become advocates for the company's services growth plan
Understand customer needs across geographies and customer types
Manage initial delivery of opportunities and ensure appropriate ongoing management is in place
Monitor the competitive environment for assigned opportunities (in collaboration with the strategy team)
Present to various audiences on the transformational growth strategy and individual opportunities
Mentor new team members and ensuring that they deliver according to BD team objectives
Qualifications:
10
years experience in business development in North America
Strong project management skills
Prioritization skills and the ability to make informed but rapid decisions about the attractiveness of opportunities with limited information / high level analysis
Strong analytic skills and the ability to collect external data and information to build high level models
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate to senior level executives / stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple demands upon his / her time
Ability to interact with and influence both internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority
Knowledge of the US and Canadian energy markets
Ability to travel up to 50% of the timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
