Individual will maintain and manage all aspects of the laboratory operations. The selected candidate will enter lab data into a computer system; maintain a data log book; sample hazardous bulk containers; and sample drums for recycling. Individual will also ensure that all laboratory activities are in compliance with the Part B, RCRA Permit; and review analytical data based on material profile.
An Associate's degree in chemistry, biology or an environmental field is required. A Bachelor's degree in a science is desirable. One to two (1 to 2) years of industry-related experience is desirable. Experience in wet chemistry and general lab procedures are required. Gas chromatography experience is desirable. The selected candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, and knowledge of computer applications is required. Individual must successfully complete Hazwoper training, and must participate in an OSHA/HAZWOPER physical examination.
This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
