Overview:
Jacobs is seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers to join their team in Spartanburg, SC.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting a major client with the management and execution of their maintenance program. This individual will be an active and integral member of the maintenance engineering team and will participate in the daily work routine as necessary. The engineer's role will be to maintain equipment within the assigned area of responsibility in a state of readinesss to support test production. Will also be responsible to assist in determining the appropriate preventive maintenance (PM) frequencies, ensuring PM content is accurate and appropriate, evaluating consumables selection for cost reduction, and estimating task duration, to name a few. There will also be procedural and equipment issues that arise from the skilled trades comments requiring engineering evaluation and direction to improve specific maintenance procedures. The engineer will also screen the corrective maintenance (CM) work orders for opportunities to perform root cause failure analysis to prevent future failures.
Qualifications:
Requires a BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing and experience with Preventative maintenance planning and inventory analysis. Must have experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS, specifically SAP). Should have a thorough understanding and experience working directly in one or more of the following areas: Body-in-white, Paint, Trim/Chassis/ Final assembly manufacturing. Should have a working knowledge of material handling/ parts logistics as it relates to the assembly process. Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task is required. Must have a continuous improvement mindset and experience with Green Belt/ Black belt, or similar improvement projects. Must be adept at root cause analysis, FRACAS and FMEA. Must be able to validate Bills-of-Material and write thorough preventive and predictive maintenance work orders. Experience in Predictive Maintenance is required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform field work in tight spaces, maneuver in and around facility equipment while obtaining measurements and performing equipment inspections and troubleshooting. Requires the physical ability to walk around large facility, up/down stairs, climb fixed ladders, etc. 25%

Field work may bring individual into close proximity of extreme high or low temperatures, high speed rotating equipment and high noise levels; primarily inside, occassionally outside

Work with general office equipment (computers, fax, telephones, copiers, etc.) 75%

Attendance:
Regular attendance is mandatory
Occasional overtime is required as needed to meet project schedules 25%

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
