Five or more years job related experience including utilization and case management experience including three years supervisory/management experience. Knowledge of managed care utilization review criteria and an understanding of claims and denial process.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required.
Preferred qualifications include a Master''s Degree in Nursing. Additional preferred experience including working for a managed care payor with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. Proven written and verbal communication skills. Leadership attributes. Assessment, planning and intervention skills. Case management / utilization management skills. Must be able to communicate effectively by speaking clearly and distinctly in English.
