Position Description
Manage an assigned group of Systems Administrators. Ensure that modification/maintenance of and additions to hardware or software are implemented in accordance with the needs of the customer(s). Manage the planning, development and implementation of systems functionality as it relates to clients needs for assigned projects.
Position Requirements
35 % - Serve as the project manager on large projects. Identify and resolve issues. Serve as the point of escalation to resolve problems.
25 % - Determine priority level for given workflow and appropriate allocation of staff and resources for projects. Manage assigned staff and resources to complete projects and group objectives and ensure alignment of departmental activities with the function''s goals.
20 % - Exercise overall managerial discretion over assigned group, ensure adherence to standards and policies. May provide recommendations or additional input on pay, performance management, employment and staffing decisions. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
20 % - Recommend and manage implementation of new technologies that enhance standards adherence & improve performance.
