Our continued growth has created an opportunity to join our Information Services team as a Business Analyst. While working directly with the Business Analyst Manager and our software development team you will be responsible for supporting new initiatives relating to Human Resources.
In this role you will support our Human Resource team resolving business challenges through industry best practices, principles, and latest technologies. You will be required to collect, analyze, and recommend sound functional and cost reduction solutions to our business partners. Project Management, training, business change support, and QA or UAT assistance are additional duties for this position. Some of the challenges included in this position are:
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering meetings, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: o Functional requirements, Scope and Requirements Documents, Use Cases, Wireframes, Screen and Interface designs.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Work independently with users to define concepts.
Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions.
Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Assist with the creation of test plans/test cases to support software validation.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams, and support teams.
Utilize strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Undergraduate degree in the field of Computer Science, engineering, business, math or related discipline with an IS/IT focus.
Minimum of 5 years direct work experience in a Business Analyst role in Payroll, Comp & Benefits, Recruitment, and LMS/TMS areas is required.
Working knowledge of ADP systems is a plus.
Ability to execute queries through SQL and understand database methodologies.
Strong familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment is essential.
Ability to handle shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work productively with team members who come from a broad spectrum.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Additional degrees and/or certifications are a plus, but not required.
Some travel may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
