Provides consistent day to day leadership and clinical expertise on the unit that drives customer service, quality, and the Patient Experience. Manages the orientation and on-boarding of new staff and the growth and development of current employees. Participates in the Clinical Advancement Program and is an active member of the unit leadership team. Experience consistent with specialty area preferred. Minimum 2 years acute inpatient psychiatric experience preferred. Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State and two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute care specialty area. Candidates with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and clinical certification preferred. Minimum 2 years acute inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
