Job duties:
Assist personnel in preparing Capital Expenditure Request forms. Ensure accurate and complete.
Track Construction in Progress. Monitor against approved capital spend.
Prepare Fixed Asset Disposal forms.
Prepare capitalization forms.
Prepare journal entries to capitalize F/A, dispose F/A, and record F/A depreciation.
Update and maintain Fixed Asset System.
Conduct Fixed Asset audits.
Assist with capital budget.
Provide depreciation forecasts.
Maintain controls in accordance with GAAP and Tyco policies; identify weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
Maintain up to date process documentation. Identify and implement process improvements.
Assist with annual physical inventory.
Provide financial analysis in support of Operations and Engineering.
Analyze variances, including analyzing transactions using t-accounts; determine root cause and corrective action.
Assist with standard cost updates.
## Qualifications
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or Finance. GPA 3.5 or higher preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in Cost Accounting, and/or Materials Planning in a manufacturing environment. Physical inventory or cycle count experience preferred. Standard cost experience preferred. BAAN or other ERP system experience preferred.
