As the Project Manager at Agilex, you lead complex, multidisciplinary teams to deliver results and address unique challenges in analytics. The successful candidate will be a creative, resourceful and experienced with Agile methods and techniques to implement Scrum; and be a self-starter and have strong consultative skills as well as demonstrated quantitative ability. You will meet with the client and manage the project lifecycle including schedules, resources and work closely with internal and customer stakeholders. You will work with a team of expert data scientist, engineers and managers. Using your extensive leadership expertise, you manage multiple projects in advanced analytics discussing technical implementation with statisticians, engineers, analysts and stakeholders. You will have experience managing large scale technical projects and demonstrate problem solving leadership with multidisciplinary teams.
Advanced Analytics
The Advanced Analytics service area is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and operational targeting processes, computational linguistics, machine learning, knowledge discovery, semantic engineering, probabilistic and statistical data mining. Advanced Analytics professionals use these skills to assess, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of targeting methods, operational control processes, offer recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise risk and compliance activities.
Agilex's Homeland Security team based in Washington D.C. and the surrounding Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in risk management, enterprise systems development and business process improvement.
In this role, you will be part of a small independent team performing analysis, implementation and support for a large federal agency with the following
Responsibilities:
Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget
Support program lifecycle of the projects (customer interaction, technical delivery, status reporting, and analytical solutions)
Client interaction includes daily contact across multiple teams and personnel including executive management
Support the manager on the project
Role and Responsibilities
Create and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identifies critical issues with ease and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
Demonstrate superior performance in resolving key issues in a client facing role and adhering to project timelines, costs and delight the customer
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
Controls project/program requirements, scope, and change management issues
Experience planning and managing analytical projects
Works with organization on program proposals, briefings, estimates and schedules
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Coaches and counsels team members of project team to accomplish goals, meet target schedules and milestones, resolve and mitigate delivery issues, establish program metrics for measuring key performance criteria
Expertise preparing and delivering analytical presentations
Ability to work as part of a team
Create and deliver project plans including earned value, key metrics, costs, operational budgets, staffing and risk plan
Reviews deliverables prepared by team and articulates status to leadership
Monitors and reports on project activities related to the program
Meets with team members and customers to review program scope/progress and resolve project issues
Job Qualifications
BA/BS degree or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related analytical field of study
Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
7 plus years experience managing a portfolio of projects
Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
Strong leadership skills
Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
PMP certification and Lean Six Sigma trained desirable
Prepare, present and review project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies, and recommend funding and resources
Strong time management skills and proven ability to work on time-sensitive deliverables
Prior Federal consulting experience in statistics and related service area preferred
Superior customer interface at senior levels of management and excellent oral and written communication skills are critical
A current DOD Top Secret clearance is preferred
U.S. citizenship and clearable for Federal background investigation
Willingness to travel and flexibility to commute to clients in the Washington D.C. metro area as neededEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
