Description: Maryville College is seeking applicants for the position of Head Baseball Coach. This is a full-time position.

Job Status: Exempt, E-2
Duties: Has full responsibility for the general supervision, recruitment, training and administration of the baseball program. Has the knowledge and utilizes effective administration practices of the College Athletic Department policies; must assure compliance with N.C.A.A. and USA South Athletic Conference policies. Establishes good rapport and generates respect among students, campus colleagues, and the local community. Finalizes the schedule for their team games by May 31st of each year.
Ensures squad eligibility and maintains proper documents to assist reporting of student athlete eligibility and compliance issues. Provides effective and efficient recruiting; coordinates recruiting efforts through the Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, and Athletic offices. Coordinates the issuance and retrieval of all the program-s equipment in conjunction with the Director of Athletic Facilities. Communicates with the Athletic Trainer(s) regarding player injuries, rehabilitative processes, and conditioning practices.
Monitors the academic progress of each student athlete in program in conjunction with the academic counselor. Coordinates all publications that revolve around their program with the Public Relations department. Files promptly all reports relative to the sport.
Assures accurate bookkeeping on all program related accounts. Supervises and secures their facilities; promptly reports items requiring maintenance or security attention to the Director of Physical Plant. Responsible for the supervision of the College Work Study program and budget of student workers in their program. Completes organization of all trips to include transportations, lodging, team meals, itineraries, and off-campus supervision of students. Participates in college-sponsored or off-campus sports camps and coaching clinics with the approval of the Athletic Director. Observes players while they perform to determine need for individual or team improvement. Coaches players individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques of sport coached. Oversees daily practice of players to instruct them in areas of deficiency.
Determines strategy during game, independently or in conference with others based on factors determined as weaknesses in opposing teams. Maintains good rapport and positive image of self and college with the general public.
Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree (B. A.) and minimum of three years coaching experience required. Basic computer skills required. A valid Tennessee Driver''s license is required. Must be current in Red Cross First Aid and CPR.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
