Fitness Instructor- PT

The role of the Fitness Instructor is to monitor the fitness floor, providing professional instruction in assisting members. Aides members with exercise technique, offers encouragement, reinforces exercise behavior and safety, and answers all questions with a high standard of customer service. In addition, the fitness instructor must perform fitness appointments for new members and give tours to prospective members in a positive, energetic manner.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current CPR certification; Current Personal Training certification through one of the following organizations: ACSM, ACE, AFAA, or NSCA.
Experience:
Prior work experience or internship in the health/fitness industry.
Education:
High school diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred.
