Job Description:
Position purpose / scope:
The responsibility of the Bar back is to assist the Bartender with the following duties:
Provide friendly, courteous beverage preparation and service in accordance with established procedures
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar
Prepare mixes and garnishes
Stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products and other necessary items needed for efficient operation
Functions and
Responsibilities:
Essential:
Primary function is to clean and stock the bar.
Report to the Bartender on duty at their scheduled bar.
Order and maintain departmental supplies at their assigned outlet
Maintain Beverage Department standards of cleanliness at all times.
Prepare all mixes and garnish.
Properly stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, etc. and all other necessary items needed for efficient operation.
Assist Bartenders in the preparation of drinks when needed.
Fill in for Bartenders and breaks when needed.
Must be trained in health code requirements.
Adhere to all check settlement and food & beverage control procedures.
Other job related duties as assigned.

Requires accessing items at floor level to 6 feet - 100%
Requires transporting and maneuvering carts and dolly's weighing up to 250 Pounds - 50%

Requires maneuvering through crowded casino areas and walking up and down stairs.
Requires normal sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound.
Requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness.
Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
Requires communicating by telephone.
Requires use of electrical equipment.
Requires regular, predictable attendance.
Work is performed in an area that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit.
Work may be performed in small areas having a 2 ft. access
Work entails chemical usage.
