About the Role:
The software engineer will be responsible for working on an AGILE team to design, develop and test components of the user interface of the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) product in the Beaverton, Oregon office. This involves working directly with junior and senior team members and members of the Test/QA staff during development and testing.
Key
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks that include program development, testing and maintenance
Gather requirements for development and execution of projects
Develop specification document outlining new features and changes to existing features
Ensures a quality product through continuous testing and refinement of the code base
Understands how the feature being developed interacts with other features already existing in the product
Be a participating member of an AGILE/SCRUM development team
Develop and maintain user interface in Flex/Actionscript based platform
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
1 years experience
Software design, development, and implementation, including all stages of the software lifecycle
Data structures and algorithms
Experience in object-oriented design and coding practices
Solid written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
UI Design experience across a broad range of modern UIs, including mobile and web
In-depth knowledge of HTML 5, CSS and Javascript
Preferred:
Flex and Actionscript a plus
Linux familiarity
