The primary objectives of the Sales Operations Analyst are to execute projects, programs and day-to-day duties with an emphasis on sales analytics, reporting and sales processes. .
The individual in this position will be responsible for the following:
Works closely with and under the direction of the Director, Sales Operations on projects and tasks including order processing, sales-finance reconciliation, sales forecasting and development;
Partners with finance and marketing to monitor and track effectiveness of sales performance, activities based performance metrics, promotions and pilot programs and report results;
Provides reporting and analysis on sales programs, sales rep performance and other ad hoc reporting as needed;
Conducts operational projects and/or tasks at the direction of the Director, Sales Operations
Develop new and modify existing sales processes, including documentation
Utilize reporting capabilities to provide analysis and actionable metrics for sales leadership through the use of dashboards and reports;
Partners with finance to support sales and revenue leader boards and key sales productivity tools;
Partners with customer service management and professional services management on - customer services CRM reconciliation and reporting;
Actively consults with the Director, Sales Operations and sales leadership on complex operational data needs;
Acts as a liaison with broader finance and marketing analytics colleagues on key initiative, representing the needs of the sales channel.
Provide consistent reporting through these databases that help to identify account and territory trends and provide actionable insight to the field sales force.
Provide fact based responses to key strategic questions from the sales management team including territory alignment, performance reporting, trends and analytics.
Conduct statistical analysis of sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives.
Make recommendations to management to improve processes and support for the sales force.
This individual in this position will be working towards obtaining a BA degree in a applicable field or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. The individual in this position will have strong project management skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excell and Power Point. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with partners from various business units. A self starter with significant personal initiativie with operates effectives in dynamically-changing enviromnment. Storng organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
