Summary
Develops communication strategy and provides tactical communications support for NRECA''s retirement benefit programs and associated resources. Campaign materials span web, print and video platforms to target co-op management and employees on a wide variety of topics surrounding retirement benefit education, regulatory efforts and NRECA-product initiatives.
Purpose and Mission
Participate in stakeholder meetings to gain clear understanding of business initiatives/activities; develop communication strategy and execute accordingly
Proactively recommends communication opportunities/messaging and outlets based on business need
Partner with stakeholders and project team members to develop strong materials designed to educate/inform and encourage action with respect to appropriate retirement planning behaviors
Work with graphic designers, web developers, print buyers, contract staff as necessary to execute campaign deliverables
Assists with the design, messaging and promotion of NRECA conferences
Manage review process with stakeholders, legal and compliance teams and ensure approvals for all materials developed
Maintain project budgets
Requirements and Qualifications
5 to 7 years of demonstrated communications experience spent developing multi-tiered campaigns -- retirement benefits experience strongly desired
Idea generator with the ability to gain consensus and execute deliverables
Demonstrated written communication experience (could include digital, print, technical, etc.)
Strong project management skills; ability to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and be flexible with changing priorities/direction
Articulate with strong presentation skills
Attention to quality and detail
Working knowledge of content management systems and Adobe creative suite is a plus
Bachelor''s degree in communications, marketing or similar field is required; Master''s preferred
