Location and address of position: Grand Island Veterans Home, 2300 W. Capital Ave, Grand Island, Ne 68803
Work schedule: 3:00 pm-8:00 pm & 4:00 pm-8:00 pm shifts. Schedule: works Monday-Friday, off Sat/Sun, work Mon-Wed, off Thurs/Fri, work Sat/Sun. Repeat every 2 weeks.
Examples of Work:
Operate dish-machine; portion and serve foods; perform cleaning duties in dish-room and cold room; pull food carts to outlying areas; assemble trays on tray-line; call diets on tray-line; prepare refurbishments, snacks in quantity food production. Assist with snack preparation; making sandwiches, bagging meat, bagging bread, setting up juices and fruits.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework, training and/or experience in food preparation, food service or working in a kitchen.
PREFERRED: Experience in long term care or hospital food service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Understand production sheets, special diets, diet sheets, diet cards, and follow quantity recipes. Operate robocoup, blender in modifying food textures; practice food safety and sanitation. Ability to work quickly, and get along with members with special needs. Understand cleaning compounds and chemicals used within the department. Ability to tolerate high temperature and high humidity; bend, stoop, lift and carry food items, equipment and supplies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
