Job Description This position is accountable for the overall management of branches within a designated market. The Market Manager is responsible for the assimilation and adherence to the process that focuses on the customer experience, profitability, and proactive sales activities through community involvement and development of staff in order to achieve the goals of asset accumulation, increased market share, customer retention and profitability.
Job Requirements Develops and implements tailored sales and customer experience strategies for their branches. Ensures successful execution of sales and marketing tactics, including continuous monitoring of local competitive and business environment.
Manages market including personnel, profitability and budgeting with the ultimate goal of revenue and profit growth. Follows a disciplined management process to achieve the ultimate customer experience, sales, service and revenue goals. Determines and communicates performance expectations and accountabilities for business market staff members.
Continuously creates enhanced efficiencies within market through maximization of all resources including personnel, technology, and processes.
Champions and models behaviors, including coaching, that foster customer relationship growth, employee teamwork and community involvement to support the organization's vision and long term market goals. Proactively identifies and develops commercial opportunities at both the small business and middle market levels and serves as liaison to municipalities within the market.
Provides growth opportunities for all employees to develop and maintain their skills at the highest levels. Retains employees by fostering a climate of mentoring, leadership and empowerment. Recognizes and rewards outstanding performers within the market.
Assumes responsibilities of FSM for a branch, unless not applicable.
Responsible for hiring, performance improvement plans, and reviews, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations of their direct reports.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
College degree or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years relevant work experience preferred.
