Analyst / Sr Analyst - Operations Finance (Decora)

Summary:
This position will provide support to the Decor Finance, Decor Operations, and Corporate Finance teams. For the successful candidate this position will be a rotational assignment as part of a career in Finance. The anticipated assignment duration is approximately two years.
Organizational Relationship:
Reports to Decor the Plant Controller
Accountabilities:
Own the cycle counting process
Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
Assist the controller with plant expense forecasts and provide forecast flash updates
Interact directly with plant management to track and report on the plant's Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
Complete various journal entries and account reconciliations as part of monthly accounting duties
Partner with senior-level management to assess present processes, projects and programs, to identify and execute improvement opportunities
Provide support with various corporate reporting
Assist controller with physical inventory
Support controller with annual budget
Characteristics & Attributes:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interface effectively with plant-level management and collaborate and work effectively within the MBCI Finance organization
Strong team orientation with the ability to own projects
Bias for action in a high-pressure environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
