HR Audit Specialist
(Entry Level)
Summary: HR Audit Specialist will be responsible for reviewing current human resources policies, procedures, documentation and systems to identify needs for improvement and enhancement of the HR function as well as to ensure compliance with ever-changing rules and regulations.
Travel is required with this position. To all of our locations to ensure compliance within our organization.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting quarterly audits of personnel files and DOT files
Conducted yearly audits on Driver's Licenses and records for our drivers ensure requirements.
Maintaining a matrix of audit results and updating the matrix for status changes.
Providing suggestions for improvement opportunities and reporting on end projects.
Creating and monitoring quality control reports, following up on missing documentation, and summarizing data collected.
Creating Checklist to ensure Compliances and regulation working alongside HR Manager and/or HRBP
Establishing a baseline for future improvement for the function
Communicate company policy to all levels of employees
All other duties as assigned
Education and/or
Experience:
BA or BS degree
Travel required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of employees with an ability to converse, read & write in English
Ability to work with confidential information appropriately
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail necessary
Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
