IDEXX Laboratories, Inc , - is currently hiring for a Sr. Financial Analyst II in the area of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.
As a Sr. Financial Analyst you will coordinate and streamline the financial planning, analysis and reporting processes including: annual operating plans, the financial components of multi-year strategic plans, quarterly financial estimates, and monthly reporting. You will also be responsible for completing complex financial analysis, presenting findings, offering a point of view, and participating in the decision making process with follow through on action items.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Support and lead aspects of financial planning activities for corporate functions by partnering with management to develop long-range plans, budgets and forecasts, and supporting management in achieving desired results. financial forecasts, developing expense analyses and developing financial models to support decision making.
Lead financial close activities for corporate functions including reconciliation of internal accounts, comparing actual performance to current year outlook and prior year results, preparing expense accruals and reviewing accuracy of expense information.
Assess financial performance and underlying business trends and present financial results and analysis to senior management.
Work cross-functionally throughout the organization, serving as the lead financial contact to support decision making.
Partner in business decisions including organization resource allocation, capital project planning and business allocation methodologies.
Identify, develop and facilitate processes and improvements in planning, analysis and reporting. This includes leveraging information technology to automate, streamline and integrate processes.
Identify, develop and facilitate processes to monitor both financial and non-financial measures.
Effectively and efficiently work within multiple systems including SAP and Excel based financial planning systems for retrieval and analyses of financial information.
Maintain awareness of the internal control environment. Identify gaps in controls and present approach to mitigate exposure.
Identify trends in business results and present findings to senior management.
May perform management
Responsibilities: train, coach and assist in developing highly talented and motivated individuals.
Perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling as required.
Effectively manage time and perform ad hoc analysis while consistently delivering on primary duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business concentration
MBA or specialized certification preferred

Experience:
Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in financial/business planning and analysis in a Corporate environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong analytical ability
Knowledge in accounting and financial analysis
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to present complex business ideas
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (primarily in Excel and PowerPoint)
SAP experience preferred
