Responsible for the design and maintenance of IT internal controls, compliance reviews and audits in accordance with appropriate review/audit techniques and documentation requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assess and consult on risks associated with the management of IT systems.
Conduct compliance reviews and audits of IT general computer and application controls in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines including COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO and Privacy requirements
Assist in coordination and management of IT test activities performed by internal and external auditors.
Lead project activities as required to assess and implement software tools and processes required for compliance management.
Manage, Maintain, and update IT Controlled documents.
Educate and mentor IT staff in internal control design and risk assessment techniques
Co-Chair the Change Control Board Process.
Provide guidance and mentoring support to IT personnel by participating in system implementation/development projects, ensuring appropriate IT controls are identified, implemented, and documented within technical infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
Prepare planning activities for project and computer system reviews and audits as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications

Experience:
Practical application and use of information security control concepts, IT audit strategies, and security, risk, compliance methods and technologies
Experience with technology audits within large multi-national companies, including documentation of system flows and controls, and performance of pre & post implementation reviews to ensure proper system development methodology adherence, adequate control design, etc. preferred.
Certification such as CISA or CISSP preferred.
Preferred two or more years of business unit experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Solid understanding of IT processes and Information Security risks and controls (e.g. access controls, segregation of duties issues, ITGC change management controls, application controls, interface controls)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; expertise in operating effectively in an advisory capacity
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline with an information technology focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Normal office environment .

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
