The primary responsibilities of a production supervisor with Quality Control encompass the following:
Meet safety goals.
Maintain production and quality standards at or above budget goals.

Essential Job
Responsibilities:
Trains new employees and instructs current employees to work safely and efficiently.
Recommends personnel actions; i.e. promotions, transfers, pay increases, discipline and discharges.
Takes necessary steps to ensure the production of quality products.
Conducts timely employee evaluations.
Plans and maintains time and work schedules.
Completes time and attendance daily and accurately.
Maintains records and reports relating to her/his area of responsibility.
Additional Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials to ensure adherence to company quality standards
Inspects molded components following first-run production of new item, using gauges and shadow comparator, and advises technician of type of defects noted and need for machine adjustment
Participates and contributes to committee activities.
Interprets and applies company policies, job orders, work specifications and associated business
process documentation.
Maintains a clean, organized work area.
Cooperates with all departments and assists if needed.
Provides employees with prompt and constructive feedback on performance.
Qualifications
Post high school education required, four-year degree preferred.
At least one year of supervisory or lead person experience.
3 to 5 years experience in Quality Control
Proven ability to provide work direction and achieve goals through self-motivation, and minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines.
Effective presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
Ability to take supervision. Regular, full-time attendance.
Safely perform essential job responsibilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
