The incumbent will:
Provide advice and assistance to the Program Managers of the Asset Forfeiture Division on matters involving the development of Asset Forfeiture Program strategic goals and its Financial Investigator Program objectives.
Conduct comprehensive analytical studies/evaluations of Asset Forfeiture program areas.
Develop and conduct training for Asset Forfeiture personnel.
Review proposed USMS and Department of Justice policies, procedures, etc. for consistency with existing program guidelines and objectives.
Facilitate the implementation and dissemination of procedural and policy changes through effective written and oral communications.
Act as representative at meetings related to an asset management program to articulate and defend program initiatives.
MINIMUM
Qualifications: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:

Specialized
Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that included:
Designing and conducting analytical studies to determine the most efficient, effective, and legal method of implementing asset forfeiture procedures;
Conducting analysis of automated asset tracking systems to ensure data quality and identify discrepancies;
Providing high-level assistance and training to others regarding asset forfeiture; and
Facilitating the implementation of new programs or projects in the area of asset forfeiture.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
