We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst, Sr. to join our team at our World Headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
POSITION
Summary:
This position will conduct market & competitive research, analyze trends, produce assessments, develop reports and processes to support the Strategy group. It is responsible for the collection, use and dissemination of Business Intelligence and using that information to develop insights and analysis to assist the leadership team in decision making.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Continually collect and analyze relevant market data, macroeconomic trends, competitive & customer information and trends to identify potential threats and opportunities that could impact OIs market position
Develop a deep understanding of competition, customers, consumers, suppliers, economical drivers, and market dynamics
Synthesize intelligence into insights, analysis and reports to support decisions required for O-I to maintain a competitive position in the market
Use a variety of tools to obtain, in an ethical manner, information required to support the leadership team in decision making
Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the leadership teams
Provide an external view and market insights to support OIs strategic planning and other critical processes
Lead or assist strategic projects that include internal data analysis, consumer research, market tests, predictive analytics, and financial modeling
Design and manage the centralized business intelligence system and database
Maintain the company wide business intelligence network
Comply with the Economic Espionage Act of 1996 in all data collection activities
SCOPE AND IMPACT
This is a highly visible position with frequent interaction with Senior Leadership and possibly board members. The work is highly analytical and the output will be used in the strategic planning process.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field
Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing company
Advanced Excel and Power Point skills including building financial and sensitivity models, pivot tables, and other Excel functions
Strong business and financial acumen with proven analytical skills
Experience with project management, market & competitive research, using financial data and synthesizing large amounts of data
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven attention to detail
Ability to work and manage deadlines at a fast pace and comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will report directly to the Global Director of Business Intelligence and has no direct reports.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
0-20% travel
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
