Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will have a range of responsibilities integral to the everyday functioning of the facility and overall success of the business. Key duties are listed below, and special projects will be assigned as required. Production Supervisor directs the activities of a specific production department in an efficient manner to produce the desired quality and quantity of work. Production Supervisor directs the group leaders within the department.
ALL SHIFTS
Responsibilities:
Is responsible for the activities of group leaders and production technicians.
Coordinates with production supervisor and production schedulers to establish work schedules and follows
through to completion.
Establish and maintain good employee relations and adherence to judicious disciplinary measures when required.
Responsible for reviewing and/or administering employee performance evaluations and recommendations of wage increases.
Is responsible for consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures.
Is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Plan, organize and direct production for the assembly manufacturing facility to meet or exceed production goals, in a cost-effective manner.
Design, develop and implement processes that improve upon the quality process
Establish key performance indicators through evaluation of raw data, identify potential areas of improvement
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Coordinate with Production team to establish safety, production, and quality control standards
To address facility needs related to equipment usage and maintenance
Provide leadership and communication to team members, promote a work environment based on teamwork, trust, confidence and accountability
Who we are looking for:
Qualified candidates for Production Supervisor role must have proven success with each duty listed in the above job description, and meet the following qualifying criteria:

years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment required
3
years experience in a managerial role required
Leadership qualities and time management skills required
Ability to communicate and present effectively in both written and oral form required
High School Education or GED
Excellent inter personal skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
