Four-year degree in engineering or related degree with SSBB or Master BB preferred. Four (4) plus
years?. experience leading lean, continuous improvement development plus a minimum of three (3)
years in manufacturing engineering. Proficiency with excel, Minitab, Access and PowerPoint is preferred.
Must have strong leadership experience within an organization that follows hands on process improvement,
multiple Kaizen events, metrics, KPI driven, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work practices, Kanban
implementation, material flow, visual road mapping, and other lean manufacturing disciplines to create
world class manufacturing efficiencies. Must also have thorough lean leadership knowledge in assembly.
Must have Supervisory experience. This position requires excellent communications, lead problem solving,
as well as proven ability to work and lead in a team environment and a proven record of supporting plant
quality, process improvement and reliability initiatives. Must be excellent with partnering with various
functions as well as have a sound ability for multi project management. coaching and mentoring.
Although this is a plant environment, corporate communications are necessary. Bilingual in English and
Spanish preferred, but not necessary.
Job Duties:
Day to day lean development leading to Kaizen participation and leadership and process improvement
planning. This position is a staff report and reports directly to the VP Quality. Emphasis will be facility
efficiencies, establishing procedures, process and quality improvements, lead time and cost reductions,
inventory and handling reductions and through put improvements. . Lead and facilitate Kaizens.
