Hours: Per diem/ every third weekend-holiday
Job Details:
Under limited supervision, performs specimen testing using both manual and automated equipment. Follows established procedures for collecting and processing biological specimens for analysis.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Medical Technician (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) certification from the American Association for Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 6 months of hire required
OR
Medical Technician (MT) certificate from theDepartment of Health Education and Welfare(HEW) required prior to February 1992 required
OR
Certified Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) required
Associate's degree or commensurate experience preferred
Up to 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications
