Job
Responsibilities:
Enters alpha numeric information from source documents into the computer system following the format displayed on the screen and departmental procedures.
Edits data entered for accuracy and makes corrections as needed.
Advises team members, supervisor, and other appropriate people immediately of problems affecting the efficiency of the department, such as system problems, equipment problems, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of any sensitive information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Attends and/or participates in company required activities such as staff meetings, in-service programs, continuing education and competency assessments.
Performs other duties as required.
Must test at 10,000 alphanumeric key strokes per hour with accuracy rate of 96%.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
One year in alpha and numeric data entry preferred.
Skills:
Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team.
Ability to multi-task and accurately process high volume of work on consistent basis.
Ability to retain information and have good recall ability.
Excellent customer service skills.
Working knowledge of personal computers and business related software, preferably Windows, Word and Excel.
Able to operate general office equipment, such as copiers, facsimile machines, calculator, etc.
Test at 10,000 alphanumeric key strokes per hour with accuracy rate of 96%.

Pay: $11.25/hr
