Job Description
Become a part of an innovative team at Ingram helping to revolutionize the way publishers make books available in an on-demand world.Lightning Source, Inc., anIngram Content Groupcompany, is recruiting for aProduction Technicianto join our growing business in ourLa Vergne, Tennesseemanufacturingfacility. The Production Technician ensures that all equipment in the Lightning Source print shop is maintained properly.
Essential Duties:
Evaluates mechanical and/or electrical failures in production equipment to determine appropriate corrective action.
Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs all production equipment as needed
Performs binder recalibrations to ensure highest quality of book binds
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
HS Diploma or GED
1-2 years as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment
1 year conveyor maintenance and repair experience
Conveyor experience is required
Preferred Education and
Experience:
1 year of electrical experience
Degree/Certification from a Technical or Trade School
