Two postdoctoral associate positions are available in the Wireless @ VT research group within the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The postdoctoral associates will work as part of a team and independently for a research project focusing on the development and application of cognitive radios.
Responsibilities to include:
-Supervise/train undergraduate or graduate students in the
research group
-Assist in writing proposals
-Assist in project design, execution, and interpretation of research
projects
-Prepare professional presentations, professional reports, and
publications
-Engage in collaborative work with peers to achieve research
objectives
-Participate in wireless communication standardization efforts
-Conduct independent research and report this research in appropriate technical forums, including technical conferences and reference journalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
