Daktronics, Inc designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of display systems to customers in a variety of markets throughout the world. We focus our sales and marketing efforts on geographical regions, markets and products. The primary categories of markets include Live Events, Commercial, Transportation, Schools and Theatres and International. Daktronics manufacturing follows a focus factory concept paralleling these five markets.
Inventory receives, stores, and distributes most of the items purchased by Daktronics and many of the make-for stock items manufactured in the plant. Parts and assemblies are pulled, packaged, and delivered to the manufacturing floor for assembly or shipping by the people working in the Inventory area. Most of the items pulled for the department are done by work order pick-lists.
1. Learn Daktronics products, systems, processes and flow through Daktronics.
2. Pull parts to fill work orders. Handle inventory count discrepancies. Flexibility to work in all manufacturing departments.
3. Must learn and be able to train employees in all Inventory tasks including: Work Order and pulling, Data Entry, Bulk Staging, and other tasks and procedures.
4. Safely and responsibly use tools and safe lifting practices.
5. Correctly follow written instructions. Accurately record work done.
6. Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner, including repetitive tasks. Quickly learn new tasks and accurately perform these tasks as assigned.
7. Work effectively as a team member; work with little supervision; help when and where needed; make suggestions for process and product improvement; communicate effectively with team members. Be at work on time and maintain good attendance; follow company guidelines and policies.
8. Perform other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, or materials management preferred. The understanding of materials flow in a manufacturing environment also preferred.
3. Prefer APICs certification and/or coursework.
4. Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
5. Ability to learn quickly.
6. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
7. Keyboard skills required. Prefer experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Cognos, and/or Glovia ERP system.
8. Accuracy with numbers.
9. Good communication skills. Fluent in English; written and verbal.
10. Ability to lift and carry heavy (up to 45 pounds) and/or awkward items. Work with your hands. Depending on workload, be able to stand and able to move items to various manufacturing departments for full shift. Will push/pull or carts.
11. Work with some odors (solder/paint).
12. Ability to work overtime including weekend shifts when workload requires.
13. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
14. Background check may be conducted.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
