Crrently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support the General Counsel, and other members of the Legal team, from the Silicon Valley office. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Provide excellent administrative support to the General Counsel, including travel planning and expense management.
Log and track legal invoices, including quarterly accruals and budget analysis.
Work collaboratively with the AGC and Sr. Corporate Paralegal to update and maintain corporate databases and records with acute attention to detail.
Communicate and collaborate directly with internal and external personnel, providing guidance, instruction, and/or customer service.
Prioritize and balance multiple important tasks.
Manage office details for remote employees, including sort and route mail, shipping and receiving, office equipment management, and any other requests as they arise.
Requirements:
o Paralegal Certificate preferred, and at least 3-5 years working in-house at a high-tech global company.
o Highly detail oriented.
o Strong organizational skills.
o Strong computer skills including knowledge and experience with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and data management software.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong writing, typing and editing skills.
o Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines.
o Strong team player with ability to work closely with others.
o Ability to work independently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
