SCM Data Creation Assistant

The SCM Data Creation Assistant will work with the Software Configuration Management and Compliance departments to run deliverable packaging procedures, prepare and duplicate storage media, maintain delivery and status records, and maintain inventory records.
Primary Objectives
The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Follow documented procedures to initiate and monitor software packaging jobs.
Load software onto installation media (compact flash, solid state drives and hard drives)
Maintain records of software loaded onto installation media and their location and status.
Maintain inventory of media masters.
Respond to requests for software packages from various departments
Provide general administrative support to Software Configuration Management.
Maintain organized files for ease of data retrieval by self and co-workers.
Skills / Requirements:
Electronic or computer technology certification or equivalent work experience.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint and Outlook, to create and revise documents such as signoff documentation, memos, reports, spreadsheets, forms, etc., communicate with co-workers, schedule meetings, and maintain data.
Linux/Unix experience is a plus
Communicate with co-workers and others in both oral and written form.
Prioritize work and function well under deadlines.
Adjust priorities as needed due to changes in business objectives.
