a search firm specializing in the lighting industry. We have positions at all levels with Architectural, commercial, Industrial, Residential, and Solid State Lighting fixture, lamp, and ballast manufacturers.
Our client is a fast paced high growth specialty LED lighting manufacturing organization with over 20 years of operating history, they are seeking a high energy/ambitious/driven project manager with LED lighting expertise to assume the role of:
Project Manager - Must be within commuting distance
Position offer attractive base salary plus bonus opportunity and benefit package that includes health, dental, vision, life and 401k plan.
Responsibilities include quoting major projects, ensuring consistent and competitive vendor pricing while maintaining company profit margin, and supporting VP of Sales, engineeringand customers across the country.
This fast paced environment requires related lighting industry experience (2 years min), project management experience, and negotiation and quotations skills. Must have excellent organizational and follow-up skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Must be computer literate. Experience dealing with manufacturer's representatives is a plus. Manufacturing experience is required. Tremendous growth opportunity.
