Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Needham, MA
Duration: Direct Hire
Our client provides a complete suite of software and service solutions to help property insurance carriers price their policies correctly, settle their contents claims quickly and accurately.
Job Description:
Our client has the industry-leading SaaS products and service operations, the majority of the largest insurance companies as customers, and recently completed a significant acquisition expanding our customer base. The company?s offerings span the contents value chain from web-based software to claims valuation management to on-the-ground field inventory services. They are backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Matrix Partners.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design and development of software test cases and advanced software testing techniques, including design walkthroughs, white box and black box testing, test harnesses, performance and scalability testing, regression testing, and security testing
Take ownership of complex testing issues of Client Software
Define quality assurance requirements and performance benchmarks for multiple sets of major product components as necessary
Participates in technical reviews within Engineering
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field and experience with technical software development preferred

years of enterprise class QA experience
Understanding of Lean, Agile and Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals to gather requirements
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
Experience using scripting languages or programming languages
Software development skills desired
