# Job Description
Plans, directs and manages the marketing activities, both strategic and tactical for their respective product(s). Assures that assigned products are marketed worldwide within budgeted objectives, focusing on maximizing profitability and growth. Collaborates with R&D; and Business Development to develop, acquire and commercialize new products. Works closely with operations to ensure mutually beneficial supplier relations.
1. Provides direction and leadership in product development, distribution and pricing guidelines.
2. Responsible for taking a leadership role in project management to include: discovery, new product development, and launch plan
3. Supports Brand Marketing activities by participating in collateral development, press releases, in-service videos, advertisements, and trade show participations).
4. Responsible for the development of strategic planning to include: evaluation of market trends and potential; orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; and gap analysis.
5. Orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management.
6. Collects, analyzes and maintains competitive information including product literature and pricing and communicates information as appropriate within the organization.
7. Focus on continuous product improvement with regard to product quality and functionality. The goal is best in class products in all market segment(s). Drives corrective action where necessary.
8. Provide unparalleled support to Brand Marketing by answering questions and/or resolving account manager and customer questions.
9. Develops competitive and technical data on a timely basis.
10. Assumes a leadership role in sales training as required
11. Participates in customer visits as the resident product/market expert.
12. Prudent management of budgeted expenses.
13. Maintains files, which are organized, updated, relevant, and easy to access.
14. Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions.
15. Personnel management including scheduling, providing technical assistance, and employee development which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures.

Bachelor's degree required
