years of experience out of any chemical plant which would include refineries, petrochemicals, and ethanol. Pluses would be experience with small project work and some controls experience (ideally DCS).
Job Description:
This is one of two jobs currently open at this facility due to promotions. This role will be based at a large agricultural chemicals and biofuels manufacturing plant in Northeastern Iowa. The processes used on-site include: distillation, filter pressing, drying, centrifugation, etc. This plant is 75% DCS controlled and the parent company has put almost $1 Billion dollars into this site over the past 5 years. On a day-to-day basis this person will do plant production support, optimization and improvement work, and small projects (less than $1/2 million). Relocation assistance will be offered with this role if required and includes realtors fees, closing costs, movement of household goods and temporary living assistance.
