Summary: Operates manufacturing equipment to produce components or final product. Perform basic machine set ups. Adjusts equipment during operation to maintain production and quality standards. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions. Adheres to safety guidelines.
Essential Duties:
1. Sets up and operates complex manufacturing equipment or process.
2. Monitors machine operation and product quality.
3. Adjusts and corrects equipment settings and process to achieve acceptable output and quality.
4. Recognizes and corrects problems with machine operations.
5. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
6. Assists with set ups to meet product requirements.
7. Inspects precision parts or components during production or rework to ensure standards and dimensions meet requirements.
8. Performs operations to inspect or assemble parts, components, or finished product.
9. Cross-trains and rotates to develop proficiency at multiple production stations
10. Maintains product quality and meets production standards.
11. Follows GMP''s, standard operating procedures and applicable safety rules
12. Adheres to and is in compliance with all safety procedures and practices.
13. Immediately reports any safety concerns or violations to management.
14. Responsible for quality and quantity of machine output.
15. Consistently achieves production output targets and productivity objectives.
16. Coordinates activities with other parts of the manufacturing process at that specific step of the process.
17. Works as part of a group within each process.
18. Exchanges information with other areas, to coordinate activities.
19. Contacts others outside of immediate area to resolve production related issues.
20. Prevents, detects, and corrects errors and works to develop more effective ways of detecting and correcting errors.
21. Inspects output for errors or flaws.
22. Identifies more effective ways for detecting or preventing errors.
23. Performs job tasks with an error free focus.
24. Ensures accuracy, revision level and validity of paperwork, documentation and inspection tools prior to starting a job.
25. Acquires and understands hour by hour chart for job being performed
26. Inspects parts to mechanical drawing ensuring tolerances and cosmetic finish requirements are maintained using appropriate inspection tools and following approved inspection criteria.
27. Passes no non-conforming product beyond the cell.
28. Consistently achieves quality objectives.
29. Completes documentation of operations and quantities completed.
30. Helps complete visual management (SQDP) tools as directed.
31. Adheres to the 5S requirements of assigned area.
32. Participates in continuous improvement activities including procedure, process, quality, and productivity improvements.
33. Trains and develops proficiency at standard work in area assigned.
34. Learns and applies concepts of lean manufacturing as applied to assigned area.
35. Performs other tasks as directed by Management.
Job Specifications:
Requires a high school education or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating complex processing equipment, including set up and troubleshooting experience with complex processing equipment.
Proficient in the use of all appropriate precision measuring instruments.
Skills And Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to proficiently read and interpret blueprints and all measuring devices used within the unit, such as scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Ability to interpret geometric tolerances. Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Advises the Department Supervisor, or designee, of transactions and/or special concerns on a daily basis.
Ability to independently solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to read, understand and follows manufacturing documentation and instructions.
Ability to operate within BOP''s and product specifications.
Ability to work with moderate supervision.
Ability to escalate significant problems to the appropriate level of personnel.
Working Climate:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Moderate exposure to areas which require understanding of MSD''s and use of PPE to ensure safety. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
