Seeking experienced, professional Service Advisor who has aspirations of becoming a Service Manager.
The Service Advisor's responsibilities are:
Scheduling service work in the service department
Selling additional service to customers
Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
Reassure customers who are waiting in line that they will be helped shortly.
Schedule appointments using dealership computer.
Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of mechanical problems.
Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers specifications, using maintenance menus.
If additional work is needed, a service advisor will explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time considerations.
Contacts customers by telephone regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
