The person in this position will be part of a team directing the adoption of cloud based services for hosting custom developed applications and associated resources. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud based platforms, like Microsoft Azure, in addition to exposure to on-premise website and application infrastructure. This person will be focused on streamlining and automating the development and deployment processes in cloud, hybrid, and on-premise implementations. Powershell scripting experience is highly desirable. Continuous research, evaluation, and recommendations of technologies will also be required.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
Azure account administration
Website tuning experience
Application load balancing concepts and technologies
PowerShell scripting/development experience
Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, ASP.Net, SQL, HTML, XML, JSON
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Plusses:
Skills with automation, using scripting and tools like Splunk
Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., New Relic)
.Net development experience
A passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
